We get it. Visiting a new church is a big step. Let us take a shot at answering any questions you might have before you come to join us. Have a question that isn’t answered below?
Don’t hesitate to drop us a line.
Services start at 10:00 AM on Saturdays with Sabbath School. There are several classes that meet all around the building, some of which are also available on Zoom, and there is a live-streamed class in the sanctuary. After that is our main worship service, which starts at 11:10 AM.
We also have online prayer/Bible study meetings on Tuesdays at 9 PM, Wednesdays at 7:00 PM, and Fridays at 7:30 PM. To attend, just come to our website and click the banner that will appear at the top of every page.
We also have a variety of other events: classes, seminars, concerts, recitals, and events by South Lancaster Academy, both here and off-site. Just check our bulletin and calendar pages for info.
We send out broadcast emails with the latest info twice a week, usually on Wednesdays and Fridays. You can sign up below .
We have a parking lot that will hold about 80 cars, including about half a dozen handicap spots. There are also spots along George Hill Road and Main Street.
Come as you are - don’t dress up or down for anyone.
Our worship services typically last for about 75–90 minutes. We have Scripture readings, hymns, prayers, a sermon, and a prelude and postlude (usually) on the organ. We also have regular fellowship meals. Check our bulletin and calendar pages for more info.
Yes! Kids and youth are important in our community. We have Sabbath School classes for all ages, from newborn to adult. Click the button below for more info.
We have a training chapel at the back of the sanctuary that’s perfect for parents with infants, even if they’re nursing. Check it out just to the right of the sound booth as you enter.
Or you can sign out a church box from the deacons’ room in the upper foyer next to the main office. It has activities to keep little hands busy during the worship service. Please return the box and its contents after the service.
We try to make sure that our building is accessible for people of all different abilities. We have handicap parking spaces, a wheelchair ramp, and we are hoping to add American Sign Language alongside the service for the hard of hearing.
Absolutely! If for any reason you can’t make our in-person services, you can always watch it live on our YouTube channel. We live stream our Saturday morning Sabbath School and worship services starting at 10:00 AM.
We are a church in the Seventh-day Adventist denomination and we are part of the Southern New England Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. We subscribe to the SDA core beliefs.
Sure! If you have any other questions or simply want to talk to a pastor, we’re on the other end of this line and are eager to chat with you.
